And right now is the perfect time - as it's spring - and it's the time of new beginnings.

Take control of your thoughts before they take control of you!

I bet (betting is haraam) that you went completely blank for a split second then.

What does this prove?

It proves that we have control of our thoughts and if a thought pops up in our head then we can zap it instantly.

But here's the thing - you and I are so used to our comfort-pity-zone that we allow one thought to go into another then another and then another!

Did you know that our thoughts shape up our actions and behaviour?

And did you also know that if we keep on thinking thoughts they eventually become our beliefs.

And if we don't stop there then these beliefs become convictions!

It is scary right?

Now go have a reflection moment and think about what you think about and what your beliefs and convictions are.

And if you don't like them then change them.

Sound simple?

It is!

As i always say it's us humans who like to complicate things for ourselves.

I feel like a Spring Chicken!

The sun is out and the weather is getting warmer - alhamdulilah.

Spring is all about 'New Beginnings'.

The winter time is to rest and relax and sprig time is time to get back into action.

I was born in March - so spring time - or March itself - is very special for me.

I usually go into a mental hibernation from November to end of February.

Right now though I'm back full in action and full of energy - walhamdulilah - and looking forward to an awesome summer insha'Allah.

So c'mon, join me now and let's work on making those dreams a reality!

How 'Outstanding' are YOU?

Have you ever felt like you don't fit in? Like you're 'different' to others and then you get the 'looks' from everyone coz you don't fit in?

I have! Like for that last 4 decades! :(

Anyways, i was told by an awesome friend who's always encouraging my crazy ideas that I'm 'Uniquely Different!' and to stay that way!

I shall! :D

What about you? Are you a fit-inner or out-standingly different? 

Do your soul a favour and be outstandingly and uniquely different!

Why?

Because YOU have been blessed with skills and abilities and knowledge to not only make a positive difference in your own world but to also make an awesome contribution to humanity.

YOU have something that the world needs!

Allah (swt) tells us in the Qur'an in Surah Baqarah that He (swt) does not burden a soul more than he/she can bear.

We can handle it!

We just think we can't!

And why do we think think that?

Years of conditioning - starting from childhood.

But you can change that in an instant - in this moment right now.

Take control of your thoughts and your emotions and you can take control of your life.

Sound too easy?

It is easy!

All of life's lessons are easy - we just like to make it difficult for ourselves.

YOU are STRONG and you CAN handle it.

Believe it with your core - and call upon God - He (swt) will give you the strength to handle it and help you find a way through.

Winds, Storms and floods!

The UK is battling with some crazy winds, storms and floods.

Please keep everyone in your duas - especially those who are affected by it and have no hot water, food and have little babies.
