How do YOU learn best?
No one likes to be told what to do especially by authority figures - maybe that's why we forget what they tell us!
If they show you then you know you may remember - for a while - depending on how interested you were in the first place.
Get someone involved - getting those hands dirty - and you'll understand for sure - because the key to learning is understanding and if you get involved in it and actually try it out then you'll have a much higher chance of remembering!
It's good exam revision too! :)
