This video - about 40mins long - will renew your faith and you will see the world through emaan-fresh eyes.

We all need an emaan booster from time to time and THIS did it for me!

Quantum Touch - Energy Healing

...I attended a weekend course called; 'Quantum Touch - Energy Healing'.

It's all about healing through energy - a hands on healing technique.

It's the first time in life I've ever attended such a course and it was amazing!

I learnt so much - my breathing techniques - how to focus - body awareness exercises.

I will be attending the course again - that's how much I loved it! lol

I'm still getting used to my new skill and that I'm on my way to becoming an 'Energy Healer' or I am an 'Energy Healer' - exactly, I'm still trying to get used to it all.

The body has an amazing ability to heal itself - however if we suffer from an illness then the white blood cells rush to the affected area to help the healing process. There's not enough left for the rest of the body so this is where 'Quantum Touch - Energy Healing' comes into it.

You can read more about Quantum Touch here ---> and if you are in the UK then check out the next dates for London and Birmingham to attend the hands-on course.

Allah (swt) is the one who grants shifa and grants us the ability to use this skill to heal each other.

So, if you do have any aches and pains and need some 'Energy Healing' then drop me a line and I'll zap over some energy to you all - and Allah (swt) shall grant you shifa insha'Allah (yes, I've learnt 'distant healing' also).

I'm off to practice my new energy healing skill...

'Breathe in - hold - breath out'....

Who's in YOUR Heart???

...Who do we give most importance to in life?

What place does our Creator have in our lives?

He who has no one has ALLAH and he who has ALLAH has everything!!!

This is where ALLAH should always be ---->>

He is the Awal wa Akhir - the First and the Last.

We need to be conscious and aware of Him (swt) at all times.

Remember that we humans can become selfish and self-centred, but our Creator is self-less and loves us unconditionally.

He who has no one has ALLAH...
...and he who has ALLAH has everything!

Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It!

...can YOU?

Yes, YOU can!

We ALL can, insha'Allah.

It all starts with a dream. So dream it and dream it clear - with all the bright colours, all the sounds, all the smells and all the tastes. Make the dream so clear that you can see it even with your eyes open - when walking, when talking - see it as clear as ice.

Believe it - plant the seed of belief in your hearts and water it each day with hope, prayers and conviction - nurture it and make sure you don't neglect it - for neglect will lead to shattered dreams but nurturing with lead to firm conviction - such conviction that it won't shake you, it won't break you - but it will make you who you want to be!

Achieve it - each day, each moment, dream your dream, believe it will happen and work on it to achieve it - write a plan now and each day take that one step towards making it a living reality.

But remember - only YOU can make YOUR dream a living reality for it says in the Qur'an; 'Allah does not change a condition of a people until they change it themselves'.

The help of Allah is right with you - 24/7, however if YOU don't take that first step - then nothing will happen.

So, 'Dream It, Believe It, and go out there into the big world and Achieve it!'

Our Tom Tom's...

...So, basically what has happened is that we've had loads of tomatoes grow - mum just picked another 80 today and the sunny season in UK is over!

Well, we don't really have that much sun in the UK, though this year was a goodun!

We don't have a greenhouse - outdoors or indoors - we should invest in one now.

So when the sunny season is over - and when all the tomatoes are still green - and when you don't have a greenhouse either indoors our out - well, then, what does one do?

***Take A Guess***

We go 'Desi-Style'!

Yes! If all else fails in life, all rules, regulations, procedures and protocols - what to do? Do it like a desi!!!

So you see those lil cuties in the tray in the pic above? Well those were ALL green!

Mum wrapped them up in newspaper, then she put a thick blanket over them - so they were fully covered up, then she put them in a box and then she put the box in a dark place.

A week later she pulled them out and there you have it - the red tomatoes above - and they tasted? Scrumdidliumptous!!!!

So, next time you're tomatoes don't ripen on time and you don't have a greenhouse then fear nada - just do it 'Desi-Style'! :D

Heart Therapy

...On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of September (2011) I attended a course by AlKauthar Institute called; 'Heart Therapy'.

It's all about the 'Purification of the Soul'.

An extremely intense yet brilliant course and I hope that there is a follow up course as there is so much to learn subhan'Allah!

Hopefully once I have passed the exam I will be creating and designing a short course for 'We Be Inspired' - to give all the wbi'ers some 'Soulful Therapy' - something which is much needed - for all of us!

In this short reflection piece I will just touch on one point. As you can appreciate it was an intense two day course and there is so much to cover and tell you all about. So join 'We Be Inspired' today and you will be kept up to date when the course is launched - you wont want to miss it! :)

How do we treat others? Are we always good? Or do we sometimes bicker and fight?

And what happens when we have issues - do we blame God? Do we say; 'Oh, God doesn't love me - why is He always testing me - why ME?!'

We've all heard that, 'what goes around, comes around!'

Well, a fundamental point that we learnt at the course which the Sheikh kept repeating until the very last minute on Sunday was....

'The Way You Treat Others Is The Way God Will Treat You!!!'

Please read that statement again.

OK, now read it again!

***Reflection Moment***

Wow! Is THAT powerful or what?

The way we treat others is the way Allah will treat us!

Now let's reflect again and let's ask ourselves - how do we treat others? And why do we treat others the way we do? So then why do we blame Allah for our situations and circumstances?

Allah is Most Merciful, the Most Just!

This statement has a profound effect on me every time I think about it.

I hope it's beneficial for you and it will help you in your journey in this world.

I will leave you with the following hadith...

"Verily, there is in the body a small piece of flesh; if it is good the whole body is good and if it is corrupted the whole body is corrupted. Verily! it is the heart."

Want to be Spiritually-High?

Ramadan brings us such peace and serenity. Everyone around us (ok, almost everyone) is continuously fasting, praying, attending mosque, halaqahs, etc. The Qur'an can be heard everywhere and everyone is rushing to finish theirs in a whole month.

***There's something about Ramadan!***

But what we fail to understand is that every moment, every hour, every day, every month and every year is as special as Ramadan!

Ramadan is a 'Training-month' for us. Just like you would go to your new job and you would be given training. I mean, how can you perform a job when you don't know how to?!

Exactly that! Ramadan trains us for the whole year ahead.

However for many, for whatever reason, its 30 days and then khalas - that's it! And many fall into despair - because they can't 'feel' that feeling they hand in Ramadan.

***Ever Felt That?***

Well despair no more, because by the will of Allah 'We Be Inspired' is bringing you a post-Ramadan 8 Day mini-email course for FREE which will help YOU stay spiritually-high 24/7-365, insha'Allah!

Free email course starts on Monday 3rd October to Monday 10th October 2011 and to receive YOUR free emails please sign-up at the website

You can still download the FREE Ramadan eBook, 'Last 10 Inspirations'. Go to the website, then follow the tabs (second one), click on 'about', then go to subsection, 'services and products' and then click on the sub-sub section, 'Ramadan 2011' and there its waiting for you! The eBook and the Last 10 in there will help you beyond Ramadan. So download the eBook and it will give you a head start for the post-Ramadan mini-email series insha'Allah.

Follow 'We Be Inspired' on Twitter --->

Facebook Page is also launching later today insha'Allah.

Survival of the Fittest

***Picture of the Day - Caught Red-Handed***

A big spider got crushed (by one of us) and lil spider made a web, tangled big one and taking home for dinner!!! Talk bout survival of the fittest! (But dad intervened and off in the bin they go!)

OK, I'm judging - he could have been taking him home for a private burial? No?

I took a couple of pics - each time the lil spider couldn't drag him, he would climb back down and tangle him more and secure him - it was truly fascinating.

Last year I discovered a million and one nest of eggs on the kitchen window - a spider laid her eggs and then disappeared - or I think after spiders give birth they die - but anyways, every day I watched how they hatched and then they all climbed to the roof - I mean they just hatched and opened their eyes - it was amazing (I think I have a pic - will find it for you all).

I suppose its all about survival isn't it?! lol :D

Naturally Beautiful - Gardening Part 2

OK, so I was supposed to do 'Gardening' but it was Ramadan and then the 'Last 10 Inspirations' eBook for - so liek, so much happened!

However, when I finally got some time (plus mama said we ran out of soil and had to buy more) to do my share of gardening - the 'planting season' had ended!

You have to plant (majority) of the vegs between Jan-June!

But luckily mama had been doing her share and we got loads of vegs and the pears this
year (just like last year) are off the hook!

However, I'm still going to plant some herbs etc and my pot with soil is waiting for me!

I've just uploaded an album on facebook with about 100 pics from the garden and the pear tree (we used to have an apple tree - she died!). So if you are on facebook and you are a buddy then you can see all the pics. They look gorgeous.

Its Autumn and winter is round the corner - though it may come around earlier. I'll talk to mama and see if we can plant some autumn/winter vegs and plants - she loves gardening!

Happy Gardening! (:

Student of Knowledge

...Being a 'Student of Knowledge' is one of the most blessed blessings ever - according to me and all the great students of knowledge throughout history.

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever seeks out a path to acquire knowledge (of the deen), Allah makes easy a path for them to Jannah!” – Muslim

Being a student - though at times difficult - is so rewarding - not only in duniya but for our akhira also - as we can read from the hadith above.

We should be studious and study always as this is the only way we can grow as humans and fulfil our true potential here on planet Earth.

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever Allah wishes good for, he grants them Fiqh (understading) of the Deen.”

We should excel in our studies - not just school, college university - but also in Islamic sciences - learning about our deen, about Allah and how we can spread the message of Islam.

The great scholars of the past devoted their entire lives - many from childhood - to studying Islam and they traveled many lands. They had sabr - patience and they made dua - supplicated - to Allah to bless them and subhan'Allah, they were truly blessed.

Allah (swt) put barakah in their time and in their lives. They left so much for us to learn - treasure which is worth more than any amount of gold!

However, there is a trend amongst the students of knowledge today to learn everything quickly and they are looking for 'quick-fix' solutions.

Many embark on this noble mission with little or no prior knowledge of the vast depths of this ocean - and they fail to realise that to swim in the deep end one needs experience!

Our great scholars from the past spent years studying 'manners and etiquette's' and the Arabic language before they moved on to any other sciences such as hadith, fiqh, philosophy, etc.

Even our scholars today spent the first couple of years learning Arabic, tajweed, manners and etiquette's, before they moved on to the next stage.

But unfortunately they have failed to implement this in their Western Islamic institutes and they are rushing students through all the sciences - as if it take a couple of years to become a scholar!

Some of these students have the worst of manners and believe that by passing with a top grade they have now become superior to all others and start looking down on the rest - when truly they have their own diseases of the heart to deal with!

Ofcourse we are all human - 'to err is to human to forgive divine' - but to take someone from the shallow end and throw them into the deep when they still need help to stay afloat in the shallow end is ridiculous!

I believe that ALL leading Islamic institutes in the west need to teach all their students of knowledge 'manners, etiquette's, Arabic and tajweed' for a whole year before they can move on to fiqh.

Many of these students feel that because they have a first degree they are now able to handle the study of Islam and in a couple of years they will become great daees - callers to Islam.

It doesn't work like that! As many still need heartful and soulful therapy to fix-up and then move on to being great students of knowledge.

We have issues in our Ummah today - serious issues - especially in the west and we need to fix-up now!

***Reflection Moment***

Being a student of knowledge is the best thing ever - we need to start off on this path with the correct intentions and the correct tools - 'Manners and Etiquette's'!

The Ka'bah

...The House of Allah - here on planet Earth - isn't it just Gorgeous, masha'Allah!!!!

Do you have beautiful memories of places you have visited - places which have had a deep impact on your soul - and its really changed you in some way or another?

Do you vividly remember those memories - I mean, can you actually visualise it - like, right now?

I have many beautiful memories with my loved ones - however when I look back at the pictures I can't seem to transport myself back there (I'm just weird like that!).

But the Ka'bah? Just by looking at the pic above I can feel, see, hear, touch, smell, taste - the whole works - it - I mean, as if I'm right there right now!

Now THAT is an amazing feeling!

You know, even looking at the Ka'bah is a form of worship and solace for the soul...

I looked at the above pic and suddenly I was back there and felt it all, smelt it all, heard it all - and really that doesn't happen with me - not with everything or places I've visited.

***Reflection Moment: stare at the Ka'bah for a while***

I pray that each eye that is reading this is blessed to visit the house of Allah for Hajj and Umrah and gets to visit and pray at the Prophets (pbuh) mosque and if you have already been then you're blessed with it again - me and my fam too - ameen!

Ps - thanks to my mate Kas in Bolton for letting me use his pic for this post. He went for Umrah during the last part of Ramadan this year - may Allah (swt) accept it from him - ameen! (:

Nourishment for the Soul

..."But it may happen that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. And Allah knows and you know not." 2:216 ♥

‎...Subhan'Allah - its amazing how the verse above of the Qur'an starts off by talking about jihad and not wanting to participate in it - but if you delve deeper it can also mean daily jihad - daily struggle - that of the nafs (soul) - striving to leave bad habits and do good deeds and how many things in life we think are good for us but in fact they are bad for us and vice versa and ultimately how Allah's knowledge is greater and ours is limited...

***Reflection Moment***

Have you ever been through something and you think it is good for you yet it doesn't come your way and then you get angry and frustrated - or you don't want something but it just won't leave you?

I had a good reminder from my facebook buddies this week. I haven't been too well (again!) and I was kinda 'complaining' and they questioned whether I was complaining about being constantly purified every moment and how Allah loves to purify us - I mean rather the purification here than hell-fire later, right?! So the above verse came into mind.

I think it will help you - so go ahead, reflect and ponder and be happy that there is someone who is taking care of all your affairs all the time - Allah! :)

The Qur'an is truly amazing in its meaning and application...

Got the post-Ramadan blues?

...Why is it when Ramadan comes everyone is on such a spiritual-high - but it only last 30 days?

...Did you know that it takes 30 days to develop and implement a new habit and it takes 90 days for that habit to become like second nature?

***Reflection Moment***

I've got three quick tips for you to keep the spiritual high even after Ramadan insha'Allah.

1. Dua: Its a weapon of the believer and it is a connection and communication with Allah. Remember that long dua list you made during Ramadan and especially for the Last 10 Nights? Well don't give up on it and continue with it daily - after every prayer - after fajr prayer or at a time when you're most alert. Make a special dua to Allah to keep you steadfast and keep you going - especially when you feel low, poorly or external stuff is happening.

2. Belief: Our system has a lot to deal with daily - so its only natural for our belief - imaan - to waiver. We are human, so this will happen. Don't beat yourself up over it - but rather recognize it and work towards strengthening it - and know that your Lord is the best of planners and He will do the best for you - because you're making dua - supplicating - to Him and asking from Him.

3. Continuity: Even if its little a day. Even if you started your prayers and you're on two or three a day. Stick to it - because by sticking to it and believing that you can do it and that Allah is with you because you have made dua to Him and asked Him to help you you can achieve it! And you will be able to increase it everyday. If you want to read more Qur'an and are struggling then read a couple of pages a day - or even couple of verses - but stick to it - and everyday you will automatically add to it because you will want to achieve your goal of reading more.

There are many more tips and you may have some also. Please do share them with us all. These were three quick tips - write these down and add more from other resources or articles you have read and increase your own tip list and work on it.

Hope it helps insha'Allah (:

The Rights of Nature

The Green Deen
...“It is He Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and with it we bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which We bring forth thick clustered grain.” Al-An’am
Following from yesterdays post where we looked at the 'Rights of Animals in Islam - today our theme is about 'Nature' and all the green stuff Allah (swt) has created - the Rights of Nature.

Our deen - Islam - is holistic and teaches us about everything - how to look after and care for everything.

Allah (swt) did not create anything in vain or for no reason. If we don't have sun, day, night, food, water etc - we won't be able to live. Allah (swt) has created everything for a reason - and it all helps our existence here on the planet.
We need to look after our greenery - look after and preserve the rain forests, trees, vegetation's, plantations etc.
How can you start straight away? With your own Garden!

I've always loved greenery and love nature. I'm getting back into it and will be doing some all important gardening stuff with mama (OK, well I was supposed to do all the veggie planting two months ago - but got busy - I shall now always make it a priority!)...(see 'Gardening Part 1 post below).

If you don't have a garden - keep some plants in the house - my house is full of indoor plants - its an indoor amazon rain forest!

Join a green-reservation org - join local park reservation project, plant and grow your own.

We need to look after our greenery because Allah will question us about it. We all need to get started right away. So go on, off you go, female or male, go buy an indoor/outdoor plants, mow the lawn, un-weed the weeds - go get green-fingered today and remember the ayah above insha'Allah.

..."and he it is who spread the earth and made in it firm mountains and rivers, and of all fruits he has made in it two kinds; he makes the night cover the day; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect." Surah 13; Verse 3

Allah (swt) always asks us to reflect - because by reflecting we see His beauty and perfection and we draw closer to Him and our ibaadah is strengthen - everything is aligned and our souls is at ease and peace.

..."then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your lord submissively. there comes forth from within it a beverage of many colors, in which there is healing for men; most surely there is a sign in this (life of bees) for a people who reflect." Surah 16; Verse 69

...that picture is from my local park - its gorgeous masha'Allah (:

Islam and Animal Rights

...The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A woman was punished (by God) because of a cat. She had not provided (the cat) with food or drink, nor had she set it free so that it might eat the insects of the earth." Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1047

...The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "While a man was walking along a road, he became very thirsty. He came to a well, got down into it, drank, and climbed out again. He then saw a dog panting and licking mud because of severe thirst. The man said to himself, 'This dog is suffering from the same state of thirst I did.' So he went down the well (again), filled his shoe (with water), held it in his mouth (as he climbed out), and gave the water to the dog. God thanked him for that deed and forgave him (his sins)." The people then asked the Prophet: "Is there a reward for us in serving animals?" He replied: "(Yes), there is a reward for serving any (living being)." Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Hadith 38

Today its all about animals. Whether you like or dislike them - they are living amongst us and as Muslims we have a duty towards them. In this month of Ramadan when charity appeals are dedicated to alleviating sufferings of humans - why not donate some money to charity for animals. Who is going to look after them?

I strongly believe that our Muslim Ummah have neglected animals - just look at all your Islamic Channels - no one is doing appeals for animals - not during Ramadan and not after!

Now scroll back up and ponder and reflect on the two ahaadith and then ask - do animals have no rights? Don't they deserve my sadaqah and charity this month?

Maybe if we pay more heed to animals and their rights then Allah will put barakah in our money and help those in need and they will actually be out of poverty - its 2011 - yet we still can't manage to alleviate the suffering of the masses!

We Muslims need to reflect and ponder and learn lessons from the Sunnah.

I'm thinking of starting another blog - dedicated to animals and saving endangered animals and species which are suffering extinction. Maybe even start an organisation completely dedicated to animals and their rights. I love animals - I can bear to see them suffering - and what hurts more is the lack of awareness amongst Muslims! (Ofcourse it doesn't apply to all of you - I know some of you are doing your bestest in your own way) - but we need to do more insha'Allah!

That's a picture of my baby, Mano - she's 13 years old - well in human years - give a cuddle to your pet animal from me! (:

Our Talk is Cheap - Our Ibaadah is Weak! God we Call Out yet our Souls we Sell Out. Mercy is Raining - but we're letting it wash away - no blessings gaining - in vain - because in fear and despair daily we're drowning - looking at each other and frowning - consumed in pain going insane - seriously though - that's just so lame.

Not all is lost - just liek the wintry frost - a season that comes and goes - remain focused on your goal - fill your bowl up with a daily portion of hope - keep away the deadly toxins and dope - hold on tight to that rope!

Which rope? The one of hope - leading back to the Divine - our Creator and Master - this life is going faster and faster - hold on tight and don't give in to your nafsi fight - take a flight and reach higher heights - that which will set your soul free and lead you to your divine decree.

Reach for the stars - that's your destiny - don't be fooled by evil - his place is behind bars - yours is high above with the stars.

One Life, One Chance, One Vision - live a life devoted to God and forget those divisions as in the end we stand together to be judged - this world is temporary - so your actions don't misjudge.

We are all one and come from the One - defend humanity - no insanity or profanity - but lead by example and learn the lessons from the Deen - step up on to the scene and invite all back to the this beautiful way - don't be mean and don't fall stray - let them be that way - just say your salaam and walk away!

Don't let our talk be cheap and let's strengthen our ibaadah so its becomes more stronger and not weak.

We have lots to learn - on a daily - let's fixup now so nothing but goodness we earn. If we fall short - its all good - get back up and let's turn - back to our Creator - the One and Only - this life is a gift - treat it with respect - don't pretend to be holy - it won't help us - as we shall all soon return to the One and Only! ©

Keep Strong...

...Because Allah is always with you - protecting you - so pledge you're allegiance to Him (swt)!

Just because the devils are chained during the month of Ramadan - doesn't mean our kareen is locked up! He's still whispering away. And he whispers so much that, if we end up listening to him - and on a continuous basis - then it becomes part of us - we start accepting it as for real and start acting upon it - and soon we mess up our soul so much that we start becoming evil and acting evil - in all our ways!

Now is the time - Ramadan - a spiritual uplifting time - to reconnect with Allah (swt), to fix up our ibaadah, to plan for our lives - here and akhirah, get those troubles shooted and ourselves back on track!

Make sure that when the devil returns you're strong enough to stand up to him - because you pledge allegiance to Allah!

I will leave you with this following note that my friend shared on her facebook status. Feel free to share with all! And Happy Ramadaning! (:

"...God doesn't have a Blackberry or an iPhone, but He is my favourite contact. He doesn't have Facebook, but He is my best friend. He doesn't have Twitter, but I follow Him, and He doesn't have internet, but I am connected to Him. And even if He has a great communication service, his customer service never puts me on hold. Copy and paste this as your status if you think GOD is GREAT..."

Beach Party - Again! (:

...That's Gorgeous! (me thinks) What do you think?

Today I had the second best day of my life this year (the first being my birthday).

We went on another beach trip. This time to 'Whitmore Bay, Barry Island, Wales'.

The pic above is the first in the series of pics I took as soon as we got off the coach. It's a gate on the left hand side, to the corner, and through it you can see the sea.

Last time when we went to the beach the tide never came in, so this time I was praying hard. I mean, you can't have a beach trip and then not go play/swim in the sea!

The weather was beautiful and warm - not too too hot, but it was okay. The sand was golden brown and gorgeous.

One would think that in the UK just because the weather is not always as bright and glorious that the beaches won't be as beautiful as those in the Mediterranean, however all I can really say is that I fell in love with Whitmore Bay and I didn't want to come back!!!

I climbed the cliff with the kids (nieces and nephew), went to the edge - hey, come on, I'm a dare devil me, I have to do one of my stunts - there's no fun otherwise! (any kids reading this, do not try it!!!) - and took lots of pics.

Whitmore Bay is a small bay - intimate, private yet full of family fun. I do like a long beach - sand stretching from one end to the next - but with the amazing weather, clean golden beach, hours of fun in the sea - it was truly a day to remember!

Anytime I have my low moments I know where I will instantly anchor myself to - back to the golden beach - lying in the sun, soaking it all in and starring at the beautiful sea.

Everyone in the UK, my family and I totally recommend you go visit and spend a family day or even a quiet day to yourself at Whitmore Bay, Barry Island, Wales - the people there are wonderful and if the weather is beautiful then you'll have hours and hours of fun.

Anyone of you visiting the UK or planning on visiting - then definitely pop down 'Whitmore Bay, Barry Island, Wales' on your 'Visit these places' list.

An amazing day out - lots of fun and lots of sun, sand and sea - perfect - just the way I like it!

This will definitely be my 'I'm so happy' moments and memories forever on planet Earth! (:

Naturally Beautiful - Gardening Part 1

...So, today was scheduled in as 'Gardening Day'.

Okay, okay - I know what you're thinking; 'She schedules in gardening in her diary? Weirdo!'

Well I had to! I mean, seriously - with the grace of the Almighty - my schedule is seriously off the hook! And if I don't schedule it in, it won't happen!

I used to do a lot of gardening when I was younger - I had my own watering can - it was red with a white mouth (the part where the water flows from) and I used to help mama all the time.

We had two gardens - in the first we had a big flower patch and in the other garden (you had to open the gate and cross the path to the next garden - cool haan?) we had the veggies and herbs and strawberries (mmmmm!).

I remember planting my own apple and orange seeds. I had two small brown pots and I popped some soil in them, popped in the seeds, watered them, labeled them and looked after them. I even remember when my brother knocked my pots down whilst playing football (I love football!) - oooo, I wasn't too happy about that! Anyway, the seeds did grow and there was a green shoot shooting out of the soil with some small green leaves - but I think they died....

Anyway, to present day 2011 - it's been a serious while - and I want to get my fingers all green and spend some time amongst the plants and nature - cos, really, I love the great, green outdoors.

However, weather hasn't been too good (not a valid reason (excuse)) and well I have made a plan for my gardening session - I'm going to plant herbs and veggies. Mama has already done some - and she really wants me to take pics and make a photo album for facebook (will do iA!) She loves plants and flowers - I write this in the front room amongst indoor plants! :)

I also need to get two big rectangular box things (i don't know the proper name) and I will pop all my herbs and veggies in there. I will make a short, sweet and quick video and I'll be back in 'Gardening Part 2'! - erm, soon God-willing!

In the meantime - enjoy the above pic from the front garden. The roses are dying now but there's still some plants there.

Being in nature is beautiful and soulfully therapeutic! It brings us closer to our Creator - and well I'm excited about my gardening session and doing some dikhr at the same time - there's something so deeply cool about it!

Do you enjoy gardening? Have you got a story? Do share with us all! (:
