Long Live the Ever Living, the Ever Lasting the Eternal...

...has there ever been a time when you have read something (book/newspaper/magazine) or watched something (tv/movie) and it has truly left you awe inspired, mesmerised and maybe even shell-shocked? Suddenly you have become aware of some new pieces of fact and information which has changed the way you think, look and act?

...maybe it was something you read or watched as a child and it felt magical – you know, how it takes you away into another world and you are actually ‘living the moment’ whilst you read it or watch it (you’re all saying yes and nodding your heads – always a good sign)...

There’s been a moment or even a time like this in everyone’s life...it stays with you forever...and forever it should – for such moments bring you closer to who you really are, the reason you are and to a place which is better than all places – it may seem or sound like a magical place – but it is a place which exists and it is real...

...we say that children are innocent and feel things and understand things which we adults don’t see or feel – but when we were children we also felt such feelings – but then we grow up and well then that’s it really – we grow up! Everything changes, the way we feel about things, how we act and how we go about our daily lives.

Do you remember that special magical book or movie – which you know will stay with you forever? (you’re all smiling aww – ok well most of you are)...

‘Long Live Aslan’, they all said, ‘Long Live Narnia...’

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – second book in the series entitled, The Chronicles of Narnia (seven books – a must read for all ages)...so much to learn from it (it was on tv today and i had to watch it – hence the blog) there’s many things which happen in the movie/book which makes one ponder on one’s own life (really you should watch it sometime if you haven’t) and then there is the Great Cat – Aslan, and who does he personify? And the message he gives? Hmm – it’s also about good and evil – something we struggle with on a daily basis...

...and then there’s the Book – the only Book – with a message so powerful – it’s not even a series of books, but it is the BOOK (stop scratching you heads n hijaabs, you know which Book it is) this book touches each and every heart that was created and it touches every soul that ever was – unless your arrogant, ignorant and a complete nit-wit – it won’t affect you the slightest – but if you let it – it will take you on a journey that you will never look back from – it opens doors to places you never knew existed – it teaches you lessons you never even thought about and what of the author? He is no ordinary author – but Grand and Majestic. Everytime you open to read His book, you will learn something new – you will be able to apply it to your daily lives – this Book has been with us since the very first time we came into this world – its words were recited to us before we could even read - and this Book doesn’t even cost us anything...

There is a sign in everything in life – if only you allow your heart to understand it – and for me, i learn from different daily events – things i see and i feel, i learn – it brings me closer to the Book and the Author. We should read and watch things that will benefit us and help us to understand our lives – to understand the world around us and the people that live in it - watching the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe got me pondering again (i ponder alot) i made a new little vow in my heart and will stick to it – for truly the life of this world is but a moment.

I shall open the Book more often and ponder over it – and apply it to my life – as it has an answer for everything – and i shall come closer to its Author by all the ways He has told us how – ‘Long Live the Ever Living, the Ever Lasting the Eternal...’

(NB:- the Book is not compared to any other book that was or has or shall be written by a living human being, however we all need reminders in life – man is by nature forgetful and needs reminding and we should remind each other – we learn from all aspects of our lives and many books and movies you watch have a hidden meaning (here goes my conspiracy theory again) it is up to us to understand and be wise – it is up to us to choose the right path leading to the Divine, the Book is a ‘Guidance to all of Mankind’...)
