Be Creative! Keep a 'thought-book' (and a pen)! Write down your thoughts, your ideas, your aims and your goals! Its yours!

Be Creative - think creative, live creative and spread creativity! Be Inspired and Inspire all those around you!

Recently i had a library day with my nieces. Whilst walking through the park, chasing the squirrels and kicking the colourful leaves as well as looking for some conkers - i discussed the concept and idea of creativity and how they could be creative and well basically how they can enjoy being themselves and kids. Today, kids are more than eager to become adults. They forget the fun they can have - the innocence. So i decided to sprinkle some creativity dust on them. I got them all inspired and told them that as long as they worship and believe in Allah - follow the right path in life - they can achieve their goals and they can become geniuses. Oh that sparkle in their eyes!

They didn't realise that i had a blog. So i told them how they can use their time more constructively and productively online - forget the online games - learn, learn and learn - you will grow and become geniuses. I inspired them to start their own blog! Its all new for them - but insha'Allah they will develop it further. I even told my elder niece to get her own blog. She loves reading - so i said put your writing talents to use and create a 'Review Blog' - where you give book reviews and get other kids to read. Let your creative juices flow - don't be afraid to fall - as that is the only way you will learn. don't be afraid to try - how else will you know if you're good at it or not? Keep a 'thought-book' - write, think, write some more, draw sketches, ponder, reflect, look at the beauty around you, reflect on creation and its purpose - and be creative. As i always say - 'let your imagination run wild' - and ofcourse we all know right from wrong - we know good from bad - so no excuse on placing limitations on your imagination - as you will be inspired by the Divine and won't stray.

Inspire the young ones and get them creative. Be around creative people - positive people and come up with those ideas - things you want to do - achieve - projects you want to work on. Allah (swt) blessed me with creativity - and its crazy! I am using it on a daily - benefiting from it and making sure others benefit too. You're special with your very own uniqueness and creativeness - so accept the blessings from your Lord - use them to spread His deen and goodness in the world - and let your creative juices flow - for you never know...where you may go...

This blog started out as me being curious and entering the world of blogging (please see my very first post - 'I Have Entered A New World'). I love reading and writing - and have actually written a few short stories myself - its hard getting published - and takes a lot of time. So, what better way to get my thoughts across than start this blog!

As you have read - my blogs are not consistent on one topic - or written on a daily or weekly basis. My aim was just to start a blog - write what comes to my head and see where it goes...'not your average flow...'

Sometimes I do get a writers and thinkers block - as would any writer or thinker - but I blogged on topics which - well I felt were necessary to blog at the time of blogging. You will notice that it is quite different from other blogs - but...well...that makes me who I am, different :)

Continue to browse through the blogs - all good which may come from them and which you are inspired by - are truly from the blessings of the Divine - and any mistakes are strictly and only mine and from the evil of my own soul - 'to err is to human and to forgive Divine'...

I have added some unique touches to this blog. If you scroll down you will find an aquarium - with lots of fishes - don't forget to feed them! Just click on your mouse or laptop pad thing and watch the food appear...too childish? Not really - as many of you may have fish tanks at home and there is a reason why I have them there - symbolic. Did you know that even the fish in the deep seas make supplication for the righteous believers who teach good to others? Exactly! So every time I look at them, they remind me (and inspire me) that somewhere out there on our planet - there may be a fish or two supplicating for me - and that very supplication may be my ticket to Jannah! (...just maybe)...stop...reflect...ponder....deeeeeeeeep!

Immediately below the fishes are websites for you all to visit - some are projects i'm working on, some I have benefited from and some newcomers on to the scene (i'm promoting!)...do visit them - if I have benefited then insha'Allah you will to.

There's also an 'Astronomy picture' of the day - and I thought that was very cool - and plus I learnt a lot about our solar system from there. I will try and put up another little section for all your other feedback (you can always feedback on the blogs).

As I said, I won't be able to make it daily - the above topics are defo in the pipelines - and I guess the best way to stay informed is to subscribe and join - thank you to the four people who already have - i'm assuming that once a new blog is published you get an email alert - which is a good way to find out when the next new blog will be published - but until then - if you already haven't - then there's alot to read!

Home Sweet Home...

...you've been away for work for a while, or maybe you're at university - living on campus - or maybe you've been on a holiday - abroad - and what is that one thing we all say when the plane lands, or the train stops at its destination, or you pull up at your drive way...'ahhh home sweet home'!

Such a beautiful and sweet feeling - no matter where you travel in the world - or have been to stay at your friends for the weekend - you come back to your 'home sweet home'.

Why do we say this? Because its our home and its where we feel at peace, comfort and protected, right?

But is a home always sweet?....No! Its not sweet for everyone - and in fact for many it may be very bitter and sour!

There are many reasons why a home becomes bitter and sour. Allah (swt) has laid down the law for us and the Prophet (pbuh) showed us how to implement it in our lives. But man by nature is forgetful - and sometimes this forgetfulness can lead us to sorrow - and broken homes.

We all want faithful partners, pious children and - a sweet home. But if all your dreams of a 'home sweet home' seem to be - well just dreams and not reality - you may be asking - 'what went wrong?' and 'how can i make things better?'
